Maybe, just spitballing here, alcohol was involved.

Car rental places are the devil. Not only are you being overcharged for a vehicle that barely works, but when it comes time to return it, they’re going to charge you for every dent and scratch on the thing — even if you didn’t do it, and they have no plans to repair it!

In this case, however, I’m on the car rental place’s side. This guy has some of the most obliterated tires I’ve ever seen in my life, and somehow, he’s continued driving despite losing his gas tank.

I don’t think insurance is going to cover this one, bud!
